These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the services provided by Ride N Rescue. By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these terms.
- Services Provided
Ride N Rescue offers the following roadside assistance services:
- Car Towing
- Bike Towing
- Jump Start
- Fuel Delivery (fuel cost payable by customer)
- Puncture Assistance (cost of repair borne by the customer; vehicle towed if no spare)
- Key Lockout (attempt to retrieve spare keys or open vehicle; towing arranged if unsuccessful)
- Eligibility and Coverage
- Services are available 24×7 all days during the year within Kolkata.
- The customer must be 18 years of age or older and a resident of India.
- Membership is non-transferable and valid only in India (excluding islands).
- Services are not valid if the vehicle has been used for commercial, industrial, educational, racing, competitive sports, exhibitions, displays, or rental applications.
- The maximum age of the vehicle eligible for services is 10 years.
- Requesting Assistance
- To request assistance, call our 24×7 helpline.
- Always provide accurate information, including your name, contact number, vehicle model, registration number, VIN/Chassis number, description of the problem, and exact location.
- You or an authorized representative must be present with the vehicle when we arrive. Services cannot be provided if the vehicle is unattended.
- Contacting our call center is mandatory for service activation. Costs for services arranged independently without informing us will not be reimbursed, unless we explicitly ask you to arrange them due to our inability to do so.
- Service Limitations and Exclusions
- We may carry out temporary repairs to enable towing or driving to the nearest repair center.
- Regular maintenance or services typically carried out at workshops are not covered.
- All costs for vehicle repairs, labor charges, and parts replacement at the dealership/service center or workshop are the responsibility of the customer.
- We reserve the right to decline services for misrepresentation of facts by the customer.
- We are not liable for indirect loss, loss of data, loss of income, or consequential loss due to vehicle defects or repairs.
- Special equipment charges for vehicle extraction (e.g., if off-road) are not part of standard service and may be charged to the customer beyond a certain limit. The customer is responsible for any damages sustained during such extraction.
- We may refuse free services if we deem usage to be excessive, offering alternatives at your expense.
- Services are not covered for non-immobilizing issues (e.g., faulty fuel gauge, non-functioning AC, damaged mirrors not obstructing vision).
- Special exclusions include vehicles in motor racing, breakdowns during riots, wars, acts of terrorism, or due to deliberate damage, vandalism, or criminal acts.
- Adverse weather conditions or other external factors may affect our ability to provide services or impact response times.
- For inter-state vehicle transfer, the customer is responsible for all necessary documents, taxes, and charges. We are not liable for vehicle detention by authorities or any resulting damage or loss.
- In accidental cases, services can only be activated after police/court clearance and proper handover of the vehicle.
- The customer must ensure appropriate handover of the vehicle to our representative during towing.
- Limitation of Liability
- Ride N Rescue shall not be liable for any direct or indirect loss or damage suffered by the customer arising from the use of our service.
- In no event will Ride N Rescue be liable for indirect, special, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages of any kind, including lost profits, revenue, or data.
- Payments
- Payment must be made in full upon successful service delivery.
- Accepted methods: UPI, cash, debit/credit card, or online wallets.
- Pricing is communicated upfront or via app/helpline.
- In case of cancellation after dispatch, a base charge of 25% of the total service fee will apply.
- Governing Law and Jurisdiction
- The laws of the Republic of India shall govern this Agreement.
- Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts in Kolkata, India.
